Funeral Hymns

Hymns for funerals

Hymns can be part of any funeral service, religious or not. Many people find it very comforting to hear familiar music in a very unfamiliar situation.

Equally, there are those who like the idea of hymns at a service because it’s what their loved one would have wanted. However, they have no idea of what hymns to choose, or what they sound like.

This is where Singers for Funerals can help. We are always happy to lead hymns during a service. We’ve sung hymns and solos at over 400 funerals, so we have an extensive repertoire of traditional, modern, and Catholic hymns.

Do I need a choir to lead the hymns?

In a word, NO.

With a soloist from Singers for Funerals, you won’t need a church choir to sing the hymns – we’ll sing them loud and clear, so everyone can join in if they wish. Families find our singing particularly useful in a chapel or crematorium, where people can feel more self-conscious about singing.
